Awarded ‘Best Song’ at London Screenwriters’ Festival, 13th February 2014

I won a shiny award! Woo! The film is fab! Here’s a bit about it:
‘Irreverent, charming, ridiculous, moving and at times wonderfully profound, 50 Kisses features everything from love struck zombies, androids and teddy bears to fatigue fighting lesbians! 50 Kisses is a multi-cultural and global reflection of pop cultures vision of love in the 21st century. It is the world’s first narrative crowdsourced feature film and was premiered in London on February 13th 2014. It has now been shown in 17 countries and circulated the film festivals’.
My song, ‘Swans’ was the winning entry to accompany the soundtrack of 50 Kisses. It won her ‘Best Song’ at London Screenwriter’s Festival. It was also chosen from 25 shortlisted finalists. Would you believe it, I was at the bar when they announced the award, so they had to reannounce it when they found me! Typical musician.
Here’s a link to Swans.
